Master Class Blockchain in the Financial Sector at the Swiss Finance Institute
Prof. Fabian Schär held an overbooked SFI Master Class on blockchain in the financial sector together with Dr. Matthias Jüttner and Dr. Sébastien Kraenzlin
In this course, participants learned the fundamentals of blockchain technology, including smart contracts and tokenization. They explored advantages, challenges, and practical examples and got an understanding of the transformative effects on today's financial infrastructure. Participants got the opportunity to deploy their own tokens and learned about decentralized financial protocols. Moreover, there were input talks by representatives of the Swiss National Bank who talked about their projects in the field.
